Assistant Professor, Sports Management (Tenure Track)
Job Description:
The Department of Management and Marketing at Christian Brothers University is looking for an Assistant Professor in Sports Management. CBU offers an undergraduate concentration in Sport Management as part of its BS in Business Administration degree. This is a tenure track position. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses in our undergraduate Sports Management and/or Management program. The candidate will also have the opportunity to teach in the graduate program.
Other responsibilities include advising concentration majors, supervising practicum experience, serving on University and departmental committees, and conducting research.
Candidates must have earned Ph.D. in Sport Management or related Management field. Prior teaching in Sport Management or related field is preferred, including courses in Sport Facility and Event Management, Sport Sponsorship and Sales, Management of Sports Industries, Marketing and Public Relations in Sports, Sports Industries and the Law, and Practicum and Project in Sports Management.
