Position Overview:

Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a functional skills setting, implementing individualized strategies that support academic, behavioral, and life skills development. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including instructional goals, accommodations, progress monitoring, and required documentation. Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and school staff to coordinate services and promote student success across educational settings. Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment using evidence-based instructional practices and positive behavior support strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field Active Tennessee teaching license with an appropriate Special Education endorsement (e.g., Special Education Comprehensive or Interventionist) Experience supporting students with disabilities, including behavioral and/or emotional needs, preferred Why Join Cross Country Education?
