STREETS Ministries is looking for a caring, relational, and organized Pathways Mentor Coordinator to help middle and high school students grow through positive mentoring relationships, academic support, life skills development, and meaningful exposure to new opportunities. In this full-time role, you will lead mentoring and tutoring programs, encourage volunteers, connect with families and partner schools, and help students prepare for a successful post‑secondary transition.

• Lead Pathways mentoring, tutoring, book clubs, college tours, summer camp, and related student development programs with care, consistency, and creativity.
• Help students build confidence, strengthen academic habits, explore future opportunities, and prepare for life beyond high school.
• Recruit, screen, train, match, encourage, and support mentors, volunteers, and interns so they are prepared to serve students well.
• Create a welcoming program environment where students are known by name, encouraged toward positive choices, and invited into meaningful relationships and activities.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, partner schools, volunteers, staff, and neighborhood community members through regular engagement and follow‑up.
• Plan student experiences, mentor trainings, appreciation events, and resources that support academic, spiritual, social‑emotional, and college and career readiness growth.
• Track student participation, communicate updates, coordinate assessments, manage program records, and share helpful progress information with the team.
• Collaborate with teammates during the five‑week summer program to plan educational and recreational sessions, provide daily activity resources, and lead gospel‑centered devotions for middle school students.
• Manage the annual Pathways budget and complete other role‑related duties as needed.

• A heart for the mission of STREETS Ministries and a desire to support students, families, and communities with humility, consistency, and integrity.
• Experience working with youth, mentoring, tutoring, after‑school programming, youth ministry, college and career readiness, or a related setting.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, parents and guardians, mentors, volunteers, schools, and community partners.
• A dependable, organized approach to planning, follow‑through, records, assessments, events, and program details.
• Comfortable engaging with students and families in neighborhood, school, and program settings.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to a collaborative team.
• Agreement with STREETS Ministries’ Statement of Faith.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to pass a background check.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend events, ability to occasionally lift 10 to 25 pounds, and ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb as needed to perform the essential functions of the job.

• This role includes a meaningful mix of office‑based planning, program coordination, school‑campus presence, youth activities, and local travel for school visits, program events, and community engagement.
• The Pathways Mentor Coordinator should be available for occasional evening or weekend events and able to occasionally lift 10 to 25 pounds, as well as sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb as needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
