St. Luke Learning Center in Memphis, TN is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire young minds and create a nurturing classroom environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while being part of a caring and mission‑driven team.

• Plan and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and curriculum that support early childhood development
• Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, documenting developmental milestones
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and behavior
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

• CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience in a lead teacher or childcare role required
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood curriculum
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check per Tennessee childcare licensing requirements
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children
