City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and small-group academic support to students
• Support students' social-emotional skill development and positive behavior
• Monitor and encourage student attendance and engagement
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning routines
• Lead or support after-school programs and enrichment activities
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
• Track and document student progress and participation
• Participate in regular training, coaching, and team meetings
• Support school-wide events, initiatives, and service projects
• Model City Year values of inclusion, respect, and social justice
