Position Overview:Empower Memphis is seeking dynamic, student-focused teachers to establish a strong academic foundation for our inaugural cohort of students. Founding teachers will play a critical role in building an engaging and rigorous classroom culture while setting the standard for instructional excellence.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid Tennessee teaching license or willingness to obtain one before the start date.
- Proven experience in classroom teaching with measurable student achievement outcomes.
- Strong classroom management skills and cultural competency.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for educational equity and student success.
