Join our dynamic team in Memphis, TN, a city known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant community. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the production processes of diverse spine products, ensuring efficiency and quality in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
- Arrange machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
- Specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment affecting product performance.
- Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
- Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
- Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
- Act as an individual contributor with responsibility in technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies.
- Formulate, deliver, and/or manage assigned projects, working with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
- May mentor colleagues or direct the work of lower-level professionals.
- Focus primarily on delivering R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies, from design to implementation, while adhering to policies.
- Top 3 technical skills required:
Blue Print Reading, Bill of Materials Creation, and Process Engineering (preferably for Product Final Packaging). - Nice to Have:
Autodesk, SAP Engineering, Solid Works. - Education Required:
B.S. (preferably in Industrial Engineering). - Years’ Experience
Required:
2 years. - Work Schedule:
Onsite 100%, 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday - Friday.
