CAD Coordinator
Pay Rate: $40-42/Hr
Hours:
20 hours/week, flexible time
Remote/Hybrid/In-person:
Fully remote
Day to Day Tasks and Responsibilities:
" Facilitate and execute design project setups taking base files from clients and applying Workplace Technology Standards standards and creating Workplace Technology Services project plans on to which all work will be drafted.
" Ensure accurate drafting in AutoCAD of comments or directions that are written, verbally stated, or visually marked on plans.
" Maintain a high level of communication with CAD Operators at client businesses.
" Create narrative documents for addenda or other communications as directed by a member of the design team.
" Maintain process efficiencies by following company standards for CAD procedures, including layering and plan sheet format.
" Increase quality of work by preparing a catalogue of all possible details.
" Assist with audio-visual system designs, including single line diagrams, elevations, and sections.
" Increase quality by the regular review of equipment lists comparing to system single line diagrams.
" Attend meetings as needed.
* There is a potential opportunity for travel
What You'll Need:
" Two-year technical degree with a focus on AutoCAD or four-year degree desired.
" Minimum of two years of technology design experience and one year of AutoCAD experience.
" Certifications, desired but not required, include:
Registered Communications Construction Designer (RCCD), CTTS, CTSD, and Physical Security Professional (PSP).
" Strong technical skills in AutoCAD
" Solid abilities using MS Office suite and Excel
" High level of communication skills both written and verbal
Interview process: 1-2 virtual interview
