EnSafe continues to grow, and we are adding a Mid‑Level Geologist or Scientist to our Memphis office. The candidate will be on a project team and gain experience in a wide range of projects in a supportive environment that fosters collaboration at all levels. EnSafe focuses on providing creative thinking and encourages professional growth with each employee. The candidate must be a self-starter and eager to use prior knowledge and experience to help provide custom solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities- Prepare Work Plans, Environmental Site Assessment Reports, and other technical documents related to site impact investigation and/or remediation.
- Coordinate and perform site assessments including groundwater, soil, surface water, and soil gas sample collection.
- Field documentation.
- Data evaluation and develop technical recommendations for site assessment / remedial activities.
- Perform or assist with project management and client consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in geology or a related discipline, Master’s degree preferred.
- 3–10 years of experience.
- Possess or able to obtain PG Certifications.
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER training and certification.
- Experience with multi‑media environmental sampling.
- Experience with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Experience with TDEC VOAP program.
- Ability to travel including occasional overnight travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Must have strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle in the U.S.
