Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough construction inspections and quality assurance for various mechanical systems projects at an international airport facility.
• Perform on-site inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure they align with approved construction documents and standards.
• Evaluate contractor’s work and inspect all delivered materials while verifying certifications.
• Document daily observations and report any noncompliance to improve project oversight.
• Coordinate field testing of mechanical systems and materials to validate performance.
• Review and approve pay applications related to mechanical work to maintain budget accountability.
• Examine contractor's quality control and safety protocols for effectiveness.
• Conduct daily safety inspections to ensure contractor compliance with safety standards.
• Provide expert technical guidance on the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and equipment.
• Monitor contractor performance against mechanical system standards and building codes to ensure compliance.

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction inspection experience focusing on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and equipment installations is essential.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and mechanical system testing procedures is important.
• Certifications in mechanical or HVAC systems are advantageous.
• Experience working on airport construction projects is highly preferred.
