Electrical Engineer – Prototype Design

Location:
Memphis, TN

Must Have’s:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5–10 years of electrical/electronic design experience
• Experience working with embedded hardware/software systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic circuit design
• Familiarity with regulatory codes and standards (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA)
• Experience working with regulatory agencies

Strongly Preferred:

• Background in the commercial appliance industry (restaurant/food equipment – dishwashers, dispensers)
• Proficiency with CAD modeling – Autodesk Inventor preferred
• Experience with technical documentation and design control processes

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement electrical solutions for new products and innovations to existing equipment
• Lead embedded system development for commercial dishwashing and dispensing systems
• Manage projects from concept through prototyping, testing, and implementation
• Ensure all products meet regulatory compliance requirements (NSF, CSA, UL, etc.)
• Provide technical support to engineering teams, sales representatives, and field technicians
• Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure seamless operations for customers
• Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for internal and external use

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical/electronic design and embedded systems
• Proficiency in circuit design and debugging
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
• Experience creating and managing technical documentation
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
