Job Summary

.
Reporting to the Process Engineer
, the Engineering Technician will perform complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks. The role analyzes engineering test results, implements changes to resolve problems, collects data, analyzes results, and implements procedures.
Shift: 1st, 6:00am – 3:00pm
Responsibilities- Organize documentation (specifications, schematics, and procedures).
- Review project instructions to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts or rearrangement of parts.
- Assist in trouble shooting operational issues and equipment failures.
- Devises and assembles new or modified production needs, such as tables, benches, racks, components or assemblies for products such as industrial.
- Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design, or to obtain data for development, standardization, quality control and problem resolution.
- Analyze indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
- Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method.
- Maintain software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
- Assist engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required to test customer products per their specifications.
- Train technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.
- Associates degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience troubleshooting PCs and printers.
- Experience in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
