Water Systems Market Lead

Our client is presently looking for a dynamic individual to fulfill the position of Water Services PM and Market Leader in their Memphis, TN office.

• Review all scope and fees developed by market Project Managers
• Meet and exceed market annual KPI goals
• Check in with the Project Managers and Resource Leads weekly to verify production quantities verses project goals
• Support HR for the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, identify promotions and terminating of staff
• Collaborate with the team to sell and deliver meaningful work that solves client's problems that will allow personal and professional fulfillment
• Collaborate with Service Lead to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations and systems
• Provide training, mentoring and guidance to responsible staff
• Work with Service Leads to coordinate sharing of market resources
• Direct prioritization and manage the daily workflow of staff

• Perform engineering analysis and/or design for storm, sanitary and water utilities, including water/wastewater facilities and pump stations
• Storm water analysis and design, including detention, green infrastructure and other sustainable solutions that both reduce storm water flow and improve water quality
• May also perform engineering analysis and/or design for Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies, including analyzing flow data, reviewing inspection data, hydraulic modeling, and preparing rehabilitation recommendations and plans
• Could contribute to design, analysis and engineering of commercial, residential or mixed use civil site design, roadways, sidewalks and trails
• Create job specifications and contract documents for bidding purposes
• Calculation of quantities and construction cost estimating
• Use experience and skills to provide deliverables as outlined in project scope, within budget and on schedule
• Complete environmental permit process as required
• Lead project team in Quality Control process

Civil Design Emphasis:

• Design, analysis and engineering of waterlines, sanitary sewers, commercial, residential or mixed-use civil site design
• Storm Water and Sustainable Solutions:
  This could include the development and design of sustainable solutions that both reduce storm water flow and improve water quality
• May perform Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies and collection systems analysis; including flow data analysis, inspection data review, hydraulic modeling, and preparing rehabilitation recommendations and plans
• May support transportation design; including engineering of roadways/highways, traffic control, traffic signals and lighting design

• Effectively communicate project goals, risks and requirements with clients and project team. This will include the internal project kick-off meeting to discuss project overview, scope, schedule and budget.
• Actively manage projects to ensure they are completed as outlined in the scope and on schedule. Level of effort should match fee.
• Manage the financial well being and profitability of your projects
• Use project management skills to plan, organize, monitor and direct work activities to be on schedule and within budget
• Prioritize projects and workload to ensure they are completed on schedule
• Deliver a complete customer experience to clients on their projects
• Support Market Lead in meeting KPI goals
• Establish and maintain client relationships with new and existing clients
• Proposal development, project scope negotiation, cost estimating and schedule development
