Job Summary
Industrial Engineer II is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems. This role ensures optimal performance, reliability, maintainability, adherence to schedules, and cost control within the production site.
Primary Focus:
Drive profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, and responsiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. Support the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their entire life cycle.

Serve as a project team member implementing Industrial Engineering initiatives to reduce waste using standard methodologies. This includes activities such as capital equipment requests, capability studies, plant layouts, tool design, and standard work development.
Establish time standards for process steps to support the Product‑Process‑Time database (IEDB).
Collect and analyze Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customers or areas.
Plan and coordinate facility layouts and relocations as needed.
Review and validate IEDB data to ensure accuracy and compliance with standard processes.
Monitor SAP and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) configurations to ensure alignment with standardized requirements.
Support quoting activities by gathering and developing necessary data.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to members of the Industrial Engineering team.
Support all foundational Industrial Engineering responsibilities as required.
Ensure site-wide standardization of processes in alignment with global, regional, and local guidelines.
Support Lean initiatives by building strong process foundations and maintaining data integrity to drive continuous improvement.
Follow all company security policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge and use of industrial engineering tools (e.g., work measurement, process mapping, facility and workstation design)
Understanding of Jabil’s global strategy and direction
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to align site capabilities with company strategy
Experience implementing continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives
Strong communication skills
Advanced in Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD
