Essential Functions
- Designing, specifying, and developing technical specifications for aircraft, engines, and components to ensure safety, reliability, and economic utilization while adhering to federal aviation regulations and manufacturers data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in engineering. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum ExperienceFive (5) years related aircraft engineering experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong analytical, communication and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering
- Engineering experience with commercial high-bypass turbo-fan engines
