Location & Shift
4440 S Mendenhall Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38141 – 8hr‑1st Shift (United States of America)
Responsibilities- Foster a culture in which all company employees share a common purpose, comply with applicable laws, and follow our guiding principles.
- Consult on business process engineering, process measurements, change management, education, and training.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support the development of new products and design processes for plastic forming and secondary processes.
- Assist in the implementation of cross‑functional initiatives.
- Direct the management of outsourced projects.
- Incorporate a common process methodology in all re‑engineering activities.
- Collaborate with plant leaders and engineering during the transfer of new processes to production.
- Plan and execute experiments, providing data analysis to define new process parameters and control limits.
- Provide upgrades to process controls.
- Apply statistical methods for product and process analysis.
- Develop resolutions to routine technical problems and execute solutions within established timelines.
- Participate in reviews of product designs and mold designs for assigned projects.
- Take responsibility for personal and professional growth.
- Actively participate in internal departmental activities, project reviews, and department meetings.
- Work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Train blow mold operators and equipment mechanics.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Experience in blow mold manufacturing.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge.
- Performance management and Six Sigma certification.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Root cause analysis skills.
- Safety awareness and intervention.
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Training machine operators.
- Creating a learning environment.
- Influencing others.
- Process systems and development experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Managed quality improvement.
- Building and leading teams.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance expertise.
- CMMS knowledge.
- Project management experience.
- Altium Packaging experience.
