Senior Process Safety Engineer
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 + Bonus

This opportunity is based at a key manufacturing facility in Memphis, where you'll have the chance to lead site-wide process safety initiatives, influence operational strategy, and partner closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams. What You'll Be Doing- Leading and continuously improving the site's Process Safety Management (PSM) program
- Facilitating PHAs, HAZOPs, LOPAs, and other process hazard analyses to identify and reduce risk
- Serving as the site's subject matter expert for process safety and regulatory compliance
- Supporting Management of Change (MOC) activities, plant modifications, and capital projects
- Conducting risk assessments and driving implementation of inherently safer designs
- Leading root cause investigations for process safety incidents and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Developing and tracking process safety metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Coaching and training site personnel to strengthen process safety ownership and culture
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
- 7-10+ years of process safety experience within chemical manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, HAZOP, LOPA, and risk assessment methodologies
- Experience supporting batch processing, specialty chemicals, or reactive chemical operations preferred
- Familiarity with process safety risk modeling tools such as PHAST, ALOHA, or similar software
- Professional certifications such as CCPSC or PE are highly desirable
