Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer]

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions, is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Bernin, France. As a Field Service Engineer, you will serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues.

Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

Your profile

• Graduated from an engineering school or hold a Master's degree in a technical field (maintenance, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation, applied physics or equivalent).
• You have first-hand experience in a technical industrial environment.

Work organization

You work in 12-hour shifts, alternating day/night and week/weekend, to ensure 24/7 technical support for our equipment. The work cycle is 28 days, including 14 days of work and 14 days of rest.

Compensation package

• Base salary on a 13-month basis
• Transport allowance: €650/month
• Targeted performance bonus: 10% of the base salary
