Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you will support the team in the planning and execution of conveyor and material handling system projects. Our company offers full-service mechanical and electrical solutions, including design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, maintenance, decommissioning, and system modernization. Our projects impact high-profile markets such as airports, parcel, and postal services.
Responsibilities
- Perform take-offs by reviewing drawings and prints to determine the materials, components, and quantities needed for system construction.
- Assist the Project Manager and develop your skillset through hands-on learning.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, field supervision, vendors, and management to facilitate effective communication.
- Track multiple tasks efficiently to ensure project timelines are met.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2-3 years (or more) of experience in project engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with conveyor systems is advantageous.
- Previous roles as a project coordinator or assistant project manager are beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
