Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Process Improvements/Project Engineer/Process Engineering Manager
Located just 23 minutes north of Memphis, Tennessee, our client is a global chemical manufacturer seeking a hands‑on Process Engineering Manager to lead process improvement initiatives and support capital projects. If you’re a hands‑on engineering leader who enjoys being boots on the ground, jumping in to solve problems, and leading by example, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities- Identify areas for process improvement
- Develop and implement cost‑effective engineering solutions
- Supervise outside contractors and employees involved in project activities.
- Manage capital and major maintenance projects
- Work closely with operations and other cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; other engineering degrees may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Experience managing capital projects.
- Strong hands‑on approach with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
Salary: $130,000 - $135,000
