Landmarc Environmental Systems, LLC, is placing a Landfill Gas Technician for the Memphis area. We are seeking candidates who are looking for an entry level position that willopen a career opportunity in the environmental field.

Job responsibilities:

Landfill gas system operations and maintenance:
Well field monitoring/tuning
Explosive gas monitoring
Surface emission monitoring
Liquid level monitoring
LFG flare monitoring/maintenance
Pulling/cleaning submersible pumps
LFG system troubleshooting

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintains tools and equipment
Understands materials, methods, and tools used on site
Understands basic electrical safety requirements
Welds HDPE pipe and fittings
Extrusion welds HDPE liner materials
Understands how to use on-site equipment

Qualifications:

Construction or previous experience preferred.
75% - 100% overnight travel, Monday through Friday, with possible last minute demand.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Flexible schedule.
