Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to see your designs go from concept to the production floor without the red tape?

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our tight-knit team in Memphis, TN. This is not a role where you will be siloed into doing just one small piece of a massive puzzle. You will own the entire lifecycle of our commercial dishwashing and dispensing products, taking them from initial concept all the way to the manufacturing floor.

• Design and develop innovative solutions for our next-generation commercial equipment and drive improvements on our existing product lines.
• Manage the full product lifecycle by creating technical documentation, tracking project deadlines, and coordinating with third-party vendors for parts manufacturing.
• Get hands-on by working closely with our R&D technicians to build, test, and inspect prototypes to ensure they meet our rigorous performance standards.
• Provide vital technical support and explain assembly processes to our production teams, field sales staff, and external contractors.
• Ensure all designs meet critical regulatory compliance standards, including NSF, CSA, and UL requirements.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or have equivalent, highly relevant years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• You have 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
• You possess strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, specifically with Autodesk Inventor or a highly comparable software package.
• You have a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication, castings, and how complex parts are manufactured and assembled.
• You are an excellent communicator who can clearly explain technical details to both production staff and senior leadership.
