Job Summary

Provides analytical support to the revenue cycle leadership team through reporting and interpretation of healthcare data. Prepares and maintains accurate accounting records using established procedures in order to properly reflect BMHCC’s operating results and financial position.

Location:

• Creates and performs analysis on reimbursement data.
• Assists with month end close process for Managed Care.
• Identifies and tracks reimbursement variance trends.
• Maintains collaborative relationships with Managed Care Contracting and Patient Accounting.
• Completes assigned goals.

Minimum Required

• Five or more years of experience in healthcare data reporting area such as managed care or decision support role.

Preferred/Desired

• Experience in revenue cycle or managed care. In depth knowledge of managed care contract language.

Minimum Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred/Desired

• MBA.

Minimum Required

• Expert level Excel, including using pivot tables, and slicers.

• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with multiple levels within an organization.
