The Job You Will Perform

Engage with customers to gather financial statements and transform them into written financial analysis and credit limit recommendations for management aligned with customer needs and company's risk appetite.

Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis on annual financial statements, personal financial statements, and/or tax returns to renew credit limits every year and/or increase credit lines as required.

Prepare credit limit recommendations of $250,000+, integrating trade references and comprehensive credit agency scores, plus rigorous financial statement analysis if needed, to communicate complex financial data with clarity and precision to support informed credit decision-making and foster trust.

Evaluate risk mitigation strategies if needed via corporate guarantees, letter of credit, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings to secure a lien position, and/or lower sale term.

Prepare and conduct annual portfolio credit risk reviews for Regional General Managers (RGM), Region Controllers, and Senior Credit management with emphasis on High Credit Risk accounts, integrating customer's margins, terms of sale, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Manage daily order credit hold process driven by significant past dues and/or over credit limits and proactively engage customer service, sales and collector representatives to address critical AR/Credit issues and efficiently release the orders from credit hold.

Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional Order to Cash (OTC) teams (collections, cash application, dispute management, new accounts, and billing) as well as Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve complex AR issues, High Risk situations, and effectively support customer relationships.

Assess delinquent accounts for potential short‑term payment plans, settlement, or deemed non‑collectable by using credit agency scores and public information to recommend bad debt reserve if needed. In case of bankruptcy, prepare and submit proof of claim to the court.

Monitor bad debt AR with outside collection agencies and audit ongoing collection activity, review agency recommendations and next steps on a case‑by‑case basis, liaising with internal sales and legal teams.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related areas.

Minimum of 2-3 years of applicable business experience.

Strong knowledge of operational, accounting, and finance topics.

Understand and interpret various credit market factors and industry risks.

Ability to recommend credit limits and manage OTC procedures for AR portfolio of $50 million+

Quick turn‑around ability to make credit decisions leveraging deep financial analysis, credit agency scores, references or payment history, and any other indirect information.

Prepare accurate accounts receivable and risk performance reports as required.

Ability to communicate effectively and competently with high level financial managers.

Capability to research and resolve discrepancies regarding customer accounts receivable.

Ability to arrange payment plans, monitor delinquent accounts, manage bad debt reserves and write‑off processes.

Understanding of credit and bankruptcy laws and procedures.

Proactive multitasker with excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills.

Develop effective working relationships with business sales/finance and external customers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products and knowledge of SAP.
