Position Overview
A growing organization is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Accounting & Finance to lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, compliance, and internal control functions. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing financial insight and operational support to drive growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long‑range planning processes.
- Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, treasury activities, and working capital performance.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and risk management practices.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary liaison with auditors and advisors.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial analysis.
- Experience managing audits, month‑end close, and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
- CPA and/or CMA strongly preferred.
- Public accounting experience and knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and ASC 606 are a plus.
