Associate Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable

Job DescriptionThe Associate Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable is a key member of the Merchandise Accounting Team. This is a research-based role that is crucial in identifying duplicate payments, performing unclaimed property research, processing credits, and supporting payment cycles. The ideal candidate is focused on results, is detail oriented, and a team player.
Responsibilities- Unclaimed property research and coordination with tax deadlines, including clear and cohesive documentation of research and results.
- Lead on quarterly access control support documentation, which includes coordination with business partners for approvals and collaboration with internal audit.
- Quarterly duplicate payment reporting and publication of metrics.
- Timely credit memo tracking and processing, ultimately mitigating risk of duplicate payments.
- Pay cycle process support, including duplicate checks, invoice review, and business outreach.
- Other research as needed.
- 2-3 years of recent experience in Accounts Payable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Basic to intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Ability to learn and understand new software systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet constant deadlines.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4
HANA and People Soft is preferred. - Knowledge of financial controls and audit procedures.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
