Plant Controller

LHH is partnering with a commercial national HVAC manufacturer on a search for a Plant Controller to join their Memphis, TN location. You will join as a leader and the primary finance partner to the plant executive team. This job includes your insight into forecasting and operational performance for this location. As both a people leader for a small plant finance team and an individual contributor, you will be the go-to person for financial questions, analytics and performance management.

This is a direct hire job, offering a salary between $160K - $190K + bonus and equity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the plant forecasting and budgeting cadence - build and maintain driver-based forecasts, lead annual budget development at the plant level and surface forward-looking implications
• Deliver performance management: produce timely variance analysis, identify root causes, quantify financial impact, and recommend actions
• Responsible for KPI dashboards and reporting on labor efficiency, overhead absorption, scrap/rework, inventory, etc

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, plant FP&A, cost/operations finance, or business partnering roles
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team while also operating as a hands-on individual contributor is required
• Experience with plant costing, standard cost governance, supporting annual physical inventories, and leading cost reduction initiatives is strongly preferred
