Hiring Salary:
Salary Commensurate with Education and Experience
Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration develop and coordinates the day-to-day operational, human resources, facilities, communications and internal relations, information management and technology, and budgetary and financial management of the College of Pharmacy. This position functions as a key member of the Dean's management team and acts as the Dean's representative within the college in relation to these functions.
ResponsibilitiesEDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
EXPERIENCE:
Nine (9) years of progressive experience that includes finance administration, program management, or human resources; OR Master's Degree and seven (7) years of progressive experience that includes finance administration, program management, or human resources an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. (CPA preferred.)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and a positive and respectful attitude with peers, students, supervisors, administrators, customers, and visitors.
- Advanced experience with automated spreadsheets, financial databases, and a high level of analytical skills.
- Highly proficient computer skills (including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to develop and present financial data and analysis.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects that require demonstrated leadership ability.
- Ability to maintain sensitive, confidential, and personal issues and ethical quandaries.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position may occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends. May require occasional overnight travel.
