As the Financial Analyst, E-Commerce on Auto Zone’s E-Commerce Control team, you will be supporting the Sr. Financial Analyst, E-Commerce in Digital Overhead and Fulfillment Center forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Budgeting & Forecasting:
  Collaborate with teams across E-Commerce, Finance, Merchandising, IT, and Operations to support the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Journal Entries:
  Prepare journal entries using strong accounting knowledge and data analysis skills to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Account Reconciliation & Compliance:
  Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account activity to maintain accuracy and uphold financial standards.
• Ad Hoc Analysis & Communication:
  Conduct data-driven analyses as needed, clearly communicating insights to inform and educate both internal and external stakeholders.
• Finance Process Development:
  Contribute to the creation and maintenance of process documentation and training programs that support team development and consistency.
• Team Collaboration & Continuity:
  Cross-train with team members to ensure seamless operations and provide support on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
  
  You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and have a minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related finance field. A master's degree, CPA certification or active pursuit of a CPA is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency:
  You possess advanced Excel skills and a strong command of accounting principles to support data analysis and financial reporting. SAP experience is preferred.
• Analytical & Problem Solving:
  You demonstrate the ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex financial issues with accuracy and insight.
• Communication &
  
  Collaboration:
  
  You have strong written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.
• Work Ethic & Initiative:
  You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and contributing.
• Curiosity & Growth Mindset:
  You are naturally inquisitive and eager to expand knowledge in financial systems and processes.
