Director of Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to join our team. This position will sit on the Executive Committee team. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the financial health and growth of our hotel, ensuring fiscal responsibility while supporting our commitment to exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in hospitality finance, leadership, and strategic planning.

• Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with the executive team to support overall hotel business objectives
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
• Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and vendors
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth
• Prepare and present financial reports to the executive committee and ownership

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and cost control
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
