Job DescriptionThis role is part of a Finance Team that serves as a critical business partner, managing global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Tax Planning Manager on the International Tax Planning team, reporting to the Senior Director of Tax Planning, you will focus on supporting Hilton's commercial business goals through effective international tax planning.
WhatYou'll Do During a Typical Day
- Review the income tax impact of development deals.
- Manage external consultants to validate the accuracy and completeness of tax planning projects.
- Work with international colleagues on cross-border tax planning initiatives and strategic projects.
- Provide tax-related guidance to Treasury, Development, Legal, Operations Finance, and Owner Relations teams.
- Coordinate with domestic and international tax reporting and compliance teams to ensure tax planning initiatives align with applicable regulations and are properly implemented.
- Work with the Senior Director of Tax Forecasting on international tax modeling.
- Review legal agreements to identify optimal tax planning considerations for development initiatives.
- Review international tax modeling.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) consecutive years of professional experience in tax.
- Three (3) years of experience performing detailed reviews.
- Experience using MS Excel.
- Travel up to 10%.
- Certified Public Accountant designation.
- Proficiency in corporate financial systems such as People Soft and FCC/HFM.
- Experience writing technical memorandums.
- Familiarity with international tax concepts such as withholding taxes and transfer pricing.

The pay range for this role is $90,000 – $130,000 and is determined based on applicable experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
