Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Corporate Actions Associate to join our dynamic team within the financial services industry. This role plays a critical part in supporting our Corporate Action Service Team, which manages both Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions. The associate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of corporate action events, while delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
This position follows our hybrid‑friendly schedule, providing flexibility and collaboration. In‑office days will be 3 per week, averaging 12 days per month in our Memphis, TN Corporate Office.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm CST.
- Provide operational support for corporate action events across Mandatory and Voluntary desks.
- Respond to inbound calls and inquiries from clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues.
- Review and process corporate action notifications, elections, and entitlements with precision and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain service excellence and mitigate risk.
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
- Develop working knowledge of the organization’s policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to the work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure work is undertaken to the required standards.
- Carry out operational tasks by following established processes, which may involve adjusting multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
- Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports, and similar documents following detailed instruction, using the full range of functions within standard office software.
- Produce, update, and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems.
- Tasks may include purchasing materials, entering budgetary information, and recording time and expenses.
- Work at an intermediate level to monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with organizational strategies and work objectives.
- Work at an intermediate level to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet objectives.
- Work at an intermediate level to review and evaluate recommendations and requirements and to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration
- Bachelor’s in Finance
- High School Diploma (Required)
