The Role
The Wealth Management Operations Analyst is an operations-focused role with significant systems, technology, and analytical responsibilities
.
The position supports financial advisors and clients while working extensively with the technology platforms that drive client reporting, investment operations, and account administration.
We are looking for someone who enjoys learning complex systems, working with data, identifying discrepancies, and solving problems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with wealth management platforms such as Tamarac, Morningstar, and Salesforce
, while also handling day-to-day operational responsibilities.
- Respond to client and advisor requests promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Document client interactions and requests and ensure advisors remain appropriately informed.
- Generate investment performance reports for advisor and client meetings and review reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop a deep understanding of portfolio reporting systems, underlying data, and how information flows across platforms.
- Identify, investigate, and help resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.
- Work extensively within Salesforce to manage client requests and generate reports and dashboards.
- Work with Tamarac and Morningstar and other wealth management technology platforms.
- Work within Schwab and Fidelity custodial platforms and use Docu Sign to facilitate client approvals.
- Process and monitor new account openings, account maintenance, asset transfers, cash movements, distributions, and other custodial requests.
- Reconcile information across systems and maintain accurate client and account data.
- Track multiple requests and workflows simultaneously, ensuring items are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Participate in operational, technology, and process-improvement projects throughout the year.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, controls, reporting, and overall operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, investment operations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience working with large data sets, pivot tables, lookups, and data reconciliation preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform preferred.
- Experience with Tamarac, Morningstar, portfolio reporting systems, or other wealth management technology is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and advisors.
- Ability to learn new technology platforms and complex systems quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of investment products and financial markets preferred.
- Experience with Schwab, Fidelity, portfolio reporting systems, or other wealth management technology is a plus.
