The Treasury Project Facilitator works closely with Department Directors, Vice Presidents, and other key management, with supervision, to define and implement the resolution of health care financial projects. Responsible for planning, implementing, directing, and controlling MLH treasury functions including system-wide cash and debt management, investments, policies, and procedures. The workload is heavy in volume, advanced in complexity and major in regard to financial impact.

- Plans, organizes, develops, and completes projects using analytical techniques for MLH Treasury Department operations to meet corporate and department goals and objectives.
- Demonstrates the value of self-development and enhancement of professional competency through Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities and other educational opportunities.
- Manages processes necessary for issuance and maintenance of any new debt and assists in system-wide bond issues.
- Manages cash and banking functions for system-wide Operating funds, Pension funds, and Trusteed funds.
- Manages planning, organizing, controlling, and administering the Finance side of system-wide capital tracking/reporting systems, and assists in coordinating the capital acquisition processes.
- Performs special projects as necessary.

Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of hospital financial systems and operations.
- Knowledge of personnel management principles as would be developed from experience in leading and facilitating projects.
- Skills required include project management, problem resolution, strategic and tactical planning, and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to understand and prepare complex written materials.
- Ability to communicate verbally with all levels of Associates and management.
- Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgement.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of own and others’ work flow.
- Ability to demonstrate strong quantitative abilities including mathematical, statistical, and computer programming skills.
There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position.
Physical DemandsThe physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
