• Healthcare Setting:
  Cardiac Stepdown / Medical Surgical Overflow Unit
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Dates: 10/6/2025 or 10/20/2025
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00); 36 or 48 hours per week (schedule may vary)
• Patient Ratio: 1:6/7
• Weekend and On-Call:
  Weekend shifts and on-call as needed
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,780 - $1,910

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac stepdown nursing experience in a large hospital or acute care setting
• At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Clinical skills:
  Telemetry, IV start proficiency
• Cerner electronic charting experience preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Submit all time-off requests with application
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring cardiac stepdown monitoring and intervention
• Monitor and assess cardiac, pulmonary, and complex medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy
• Float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate documentation using telemetry and bedside monitoring equipment
• Support rapid response teams and participate in continuous care initiatives
