Montial Health Technician (MHT) at Compass Intervention Center is a 108‑bed inpatient behavioral health facility with numerous outpatient programs spanning the full continuum of care. Compass campus is located in Memphis, TN.

Key responsibilities include:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied client populations.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field (highly preferred); high school diploma required.
• One‑year experience working with a psychiatric client population (preferred).
• Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, age‑specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors, verbal de‑escalation, Handle with Care and CPR training.
• Prefer knowledge of effective teaching skills and educational strategies with a special education population, individual and group management skills, therapeutic relationships and processes, age‑specific growth and development; limit setting and crisis and behavior management.
