Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) Jobs – Memphis, TN

Join our healthcare team and provide clinical support in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit, serving adult and geriatric patients. • Location: Memphis, TN 38116 (Memphis healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1890/week
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit – Day Shift
• Shifts: 3x12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) is the primary schedule; candidates interested in 4x12-hour shifts (48 hours/week) may discuss this option during the interview process
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 may be discussed during interview)
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Unit Size: 36 beds; average daily census of 29
• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• On-call/Weekend: As needed

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (3+ years preferred)
• At least 1 completed previous travel nursing assignment required
• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines apply)
• BLS certification required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and IV starts required
• Electronic health record (EHR) experience preferred;
  Cerner experience preferred.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; initiate clinical interventions as needed
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform routine nursing procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• RNs can be floated between like units and campuses within 20 miles of each other as needed
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required
