A company is looking for a Patient Safety Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities Reviews patient safety events and submits incidents to the PA Patient Safety Reporting System Collaborates with leaders to investigate events and identify opportunities for improvement Promotes a culture of safety and supports the organization towards a Just Culture Model

Required Qualifications Associates Degree in a healthcare related field is required;
Bachelor's Degree is preferred 5 years of experience in a healthcare field is preferred Certification as a Professional in Patient Safety is preferred upon hire License or Certification in a healthcare related field is preferred upon hire Knowledge of regulatory standards related to patient safety is essential
