As a Speech Language Pathologist on our per diem team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals who require speech therapy services. Our facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a compassionate and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with realistic goals and objectives
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and rehabilitation settings
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and industry standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, including those with complex medical conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation software
