Job Title
Provide support and assistance to mental health service staff for patient care activities.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to the transporting of patients to and from facility, meal provisions, supervision of patients during staff break periods, Assist patient group activities as requested. Provides support to patients for assistance with personal hygiene and daily living skills. Responsible for reporting/communicating to clinical staff any problematic or clinical issues observed while on duty. Performs all other duties as assigned.
MinimumExperience
Required:
1 years of experience assisting in the care of mental health patients.
MinimumEducation Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum SpecialSkills:
Ability to respond and interact appropriately to the unique needs of the geriatric population.
LicensureDescription:
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days of employment. Current Class R driving license with clean driving record.
