Houseperson Position at ARRIVE Memphis

We're looking for a top-notch Houseperson ready to keep our common areas clean, sanitized, and welcoming for guests and team members alike. You'll be a key part of keeping ARRIVE Memphis running smoothly behind the scenes.

The tasks include:

• Keep hotel common areas, hallways, and restrooms tidy, sanitary, and welcoming.
• Clean and maintain rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, and wash walls, ceilings, and windows as needed.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors, and dust and polish metalwork throughout common areas.
• Manage linens — collecting soiled linen, restocking supplies, and maintaining housekeeping closets on each floor.
• Remove trash collected by Room Attendants, walking assigned floors at the start and end of each shift.
• Deliver towels, cribs, roll-away beds, and other items to guest rooms upon request.
• Inspect furniture condition and report any damage to your supervisor for repair.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor and follow uniform guidelines.

What we're looking for:

Required:

• 1 year of related experience in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality, with a hands-on, guest-service-oriented approach.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning products.

Physical:

• Ability to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift, including bending and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
