The HR Operations Analyst is an onsite role at the Memphis Distribution Center, partnering closely with the regional HR team and local distribution center leadership team. The role reports to the HR Director, Global Corporate and North America Aftermarket. The primary focus is Operations Workforce Planning, Employee engagement and retention, and enabling leadership capability. The role also supports daily HR operations, including onboarding, employee engagement, HR systems, data management, and reporting.
Responsibilities- Partner with distribution center leadership to forecast workforce requirements, using data to develop and maintain short- and long-term workforce and staffing strategies.
- Partner with leaders on employee engagement action planning, execution, and follow-up, using workforce data and trends to support strategy.
- Provide regular HR partnership for Distribution Center operations leaders, with a focus on enabling people leadership capability.
- Oversee headcount levels, vacancies, hiring activity, turnover, and retention to identify workforce gaps and risks.
- Manage staffing agency relationships, including hiring forecasts, candidate flow, fill rates, new hire classes, and retention.
- Support and coordinate employee onboarding and new hire activities.
- Maintain accurate employee and workforce data within HR systems and prepare recurring and ad hoc HR reports and identify trends requiring action.
- Provide day-to-day onsite HR support to employees.
- Regularly identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in HR Operations, workforce planning, labor relations or a related HR function.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with demonstrated Excel, dashboarding and HR systems experience.
- Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, or other high-volume environment, fast-paced environment, preferred.
- Experience managing staffing agency relationships preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with employees, leaders, HR partners, and staffing vendors.
- Ability to work onsite at the Memphis Distribution Center.
