The Content Developer - Cloud Training role will combine a technical depth with instructional design skill to build engaging learning experiences developed around cloud services, cloud-native development, and emerging technologies. This position will be responsible for creating practical, developer-focused content from labs and tutorials to videos and instructor led sessions.
What We're Looking For- Design, develop, and maintain developer-focused training content, including hands-on labs, tutorials, videos, presentations, and assessments.
- Deliver cloud training sessions to developers and technical audiences, both virtually and in-person.
- Translate complex cloud concepts into clear, engaging, and outcome-driven learning experiences.
- Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to ensure training is interactive and effective.
- Keep all training materials up to date with the latest cloud features, services, and best practices.
- Manage course content in the 360
Learning LMS (or similar) — publishing, reporting, and analyzing engagement. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engineers, and architects to validate technical accuracy.
- Contribute to a growing knowledge base of reusable content, templates, and training standards.
- Proficiency with cloud-native development, Dev Ops, or infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to be comfortable delivering live and recorded training.
- Understanding of instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, or Agile learning design).
- Ability to collaborate with developers and architects to ensure technical accuracy.
- Experience managing content end-to-end, from design and development to delivery and reporting.
- Knowledge of learning analytics, content versioning, and course performance tracking.
- Proven ability to create structured learning content that simplifies complex technical concepts.
- Minimum
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Education, or in a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum
Required:
2+ years of experience in technical content development, training delivery, or developer education.
- Preferred:
Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, CompTIA Cloud+, ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and CSA Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI) and data dashboards.
- Optional exposure to generative AI tools for learning content creation and code-based lab generation.
- Working knowledge of LMS platforms and learning delivery tools (e.g., 360
Learning, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, or similar). - Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops or similar CI/CD tools.
- Basic scripting or coding familiarity (Python, Bash, Power Shell) for lab automation or demos.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
