As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you'll serve as ACB's primary technical authority for network defense and security operations. You'll design cutting‑edge security infrastructure, hunt threats before they strike, lead incident response, and ensure the integrity of systems serving 200+ leading brands. This is a hands‑on security expert role—not people management—allowing you to do what you do best: protect, detect, and respond.
WhatYou'll Do Network Security Architecture & Threat Detection
- Design and deploy firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and zero‑trust architecture
- Monitor and analyze network traffic in real‑time to detect anomalies and breaches
- Conduct packet‑level analysis to investigate suspicious activity
- Hunt for threats proactively
- Serve as 24/7 escalation point for critical security alerts
- Execute monthly vulnerability scans using Nessus; prioritize remediation based on CVSS scoring
- Lead technical investigation and containment of security incidents as SME
- Execute containment, eradication, and recovery procedures during active breaches
- Conduct root cause analysis and maintain incident response playbooks
- Implement CIS Benchmark security configurations for Windows Server and network infrastructure
- Configure multi‑factor authentication for VPN, privileged access, and cloud services
- Manage privileged account access using PAM solutions with time‑limited access
- Deploy and maintain endpoint protection and EDR capabilities
- Collect and provide technical evidence for SOC 1, SOC 2, and compliance audits
- Document technical controls
- Provide expert guidance and technical mentorship to junior IT staff
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications: CISSP, CCNP Security, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (one or more required)
- 5+ years in network security with hands‑on experience designing enterprise security solutions
- Firewall Expertise: Forti Gate (strongly preferred), Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower
- Packet Analysis: Wireshark, tcpdump, network protocol analysis
- Vulnerability Management: Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, or OpenVAS
- Endpoint Security: EDR platforms (Crowd Strike, Carbon Black, Defender ATP, Cortex XDR)
- Cloud Security: AWS, Azure, O365 security controls
- Identity & Access: Active Directory, LDAP, MFA solutions (Duo, Okta, Azure MFA), PAM
- Security Frameworks: NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK
- Scripting: Power Shell, Python, or Bash for security automation
- Experience with penetration testing or red team operations
- Prior experience in regulated or audited environments (SOC 2, PCI, ISO)
- SIEM platform and log analysis experience
