Datacenter Manager

The Data Center Manager is responsible for the overall management, design, and operational reliability of enterprise data center infrastructure across primary, disaster recovery, and remote facilities. This role ensures high availability, resilience, and performance of critical IT environments supporting business operations.

• Manage data center infrastructure across primary and disaster recovery sites, as well as remote IT facilities (including IT racks located in paper mills, box plants, and other operational sites).
• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of IT infrastructure systems, including:
  • Power distribution and redundancy
  • HVAC systems
  • Rack provisioning and structured cabling
  • Support for servers, storage, telecommunications, and related equipment
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the primary Southwind Data Center in Memphis, TN
  , providing hands‑on leadership and technical oversight.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and Managed Service Providers to:
  • Execute infrastructure designs and upgrades
  • Ensure reliable and secure operation of IT facilities
  • Manage vendor relationships throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, including:
    • Purchase order processing
    • Shipment validation and delivery coordination
    • Service ticket follow‑up and issue resolution
  • Support for production‑impacting incidents (including after‑hours support as needed)
• Partner with Enterprise Computing Services architects and IT leadership to support corporate initiatives, new technology deployments, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
