Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Sr Storage Solutions Architect Manager to lead a team of storage solution architects, help customers adopt new technologies, and drive new solutions. The successful candidate will have strong people‑management, mentoring, and hiring skills, and will be technically capable and credible in their own right. The role requires involvement in technical go‑to‑market initiatives, customer insight surfacing, and metrics development to track team success.

Key responsibilities include:

• In partnership with the business development team and other service stakeholders, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed adoption and revenue objectives.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solutions Architects.
• Coach Solutions Architects in conducting one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions, enabling them to transfer deep technical skills to customers.
• Step into a Solutions Architect role when required to support the customer base.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, datasheets, and other high‑value customer‑facing guidance and best practices.
• Travel to key AWS events.

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer‑facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI).

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
