12, Nashville, TN. The Middle Mile Partner Manager team is seeking an Escalation Specialist to develop, execute, and manage carrier engagement for Amazon Transportation Services across North America.
- Work is tactical, focusing on goals where the problem, opportunity, and strategy are already defined.
- Use knowledge and skills to build, implement, and meet assigned goals.
- Handle straightforward problems and determine how to accomplish tasks.
- Escalate roadblocks and risks to leadership with resolution suggestions.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, such as writing new SOPs or testing new programs.
- Collaboration with stakeholders, peers, and partner teams to deliver consistent results.
- Maintain clear and concise verbal and written communication with peers, managers, and stakeholders.
- Pull data from numerous databases (including Microsoft programs like Excel, Access, SQL, and other data management systems).
The Carrier and Community Escalations Team (CCET) owns Middle Mile Escalation investigation and resolution to support proper routing and parking across North America and promote safe behaviors through carrier coaching. Developing solutions that support a high‑quality experience helps CCET empower carriers to prioritize safety.
Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas, data cleansing, array formulas).
- Experience managing large data sets and using them to drive performance and process improvements.
- 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with SQL.

The base salary range for this position is $22.00 – $29.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
