Lead Quality Engineer SDET

This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN.

As a Lead Quality Engineer SDET, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Enterprise Quality Assurance Center team reporting to the Senior Manager SDET, you will support projects including:

• Core distribution and customer apps QA and Automation
• Inventory Innovation Application QA and Automation

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed manual product testing and test automation framework
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and functioning processes and testing of products
• Design and write automated scripts that run tests on all software/apps in an Agile environment
• Provide accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution work
• Provide support in monitoring all stages of software development to resolve issues

• Coordinate with architects, developers, and product managers to define QA test requirements and ensure product quality.
• Coordinate with consumers on new product implementation and support testing.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies to provide feedback.
• Report status to manager on daily basis.

• Application validation and reporting bugs as identified via Jira tool.
• Manual and Automated test execution across functional, regression and integration testing.
• Estimating, prioritizing and coordinating testing activities.
• Compliance of quality processes and standards.

• Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology Quality Engineering or related field.
• Five (5) years of specialized knowledge in BDD/TDD, Agile/Scrum for hospitality industry or related business.
• Five (5) years of proven work experience with automation framework and automating test cases.
• Five (5) years of experience applying balanced manual and automated testing with quality focus.
• Five (5) years of work experience writing concise, and comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
• Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools.
• Work experience with Jira, Confluence, Postman, JAVA, and Ready API.
• Problem‑solving, debugging skills.
• This is a hybrid role and required to be near our US office location in Memphis, TN, with a requirement to work onsite at least two (2) days per week.
• Travel up to 15%.

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 5+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience.
• Five (5) years of professional work experience in design of automated test framework/scripts for UI using Selenium and for REST APIs using Rest Assured and TestNG.
• Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities to support manual, automation, and integration testing efforts.
• Experience in hospitality domain.
