Job Summary

Target Specialty Products is seeking a strategic and technically-adept eCommerce Project Manager. This role is the critical bridge between our business leadership, internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Ops), and our external development agencies. You will act as the primary "Business Liaison," ensuring that our digital platforms—including , , and —perform at peak efficiency and evolve to meet our business goals. The position requires managing day-to-day site updates while simultaneously driving a long-term strategic roadmap.

Principal

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with leaders to develop the strategic direction of the eCommerce roadmap (for , , and ) and drive website enhancement projects from ideation to launch.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align website functionality with business needs, and act as an internal expert providing CMS training and functional support for internal teams.
  • Implement strategy for ensuring conversion rate optimization, develop KPI reporting on site statistics, and stay ahead of SEO techniques and eCommerce security trends.
  • Execute day‑to‑day site updates, new product setups, merchandising, maintain accurate catalog availability, and monitor Adobe Commerce system health, security patches, and site uptime to meet and exceed eCommerce revenue goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to manage vendor relationships and the centralized IT group, oversee third‑party development agencies, negotiate compromises during technical impasses, manage the support ticket pipeline, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and the formal Change Request process.
  • Develop and review quality assurance standards regarding eCommerce delivery systems to ensure a seamless flow of data between Hub Spot, NAV, and Adobe Commerce.
Required Experience
  • 5 years of eCommerce experience, including work with website User Experience (UX), Web Content Management systems, and a heavy emphasis on Project Management.
  • Experience determining current and future eCommerce trends, planning, forecasting, and building modern eCommerce systems and solutions to drive sales.
  • Deep understanding of online marketing practices, web development principles, project management skills, and a proven track record of managing third‑party development vendors and agencies.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Advanced experience and proficiency with Adobe Commerce (Magento) required.
Required Leadership Traits and Characteristics
  • Ability to effectively manage third‑party development vendors and hold them accountable to timelines and budgets.
  • Communication skills to keep leadership aware of key decisions and accomplishments, with an exceptional ability to translate "business speak" into "technical requirements" and vice versa.
  • Desire to take ownership of the KPIs and manage progress against them.
Formal Education, Qualifications or Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required.
Compensation

Base Pay Range $103,500 - $134,600 / year. While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
