About The Role The Lead Analyst, IT Manufacturing Operations will serve as a strategic partner and technical leader within the Manufacturing IT/OT space, supporting the design and delivery of integrated technology solutions that enhance manufacturing operations. This role will collaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing business leaders to architect and solution complex systems that connect Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency across these domains.
As a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple manufacturing disciplines, the Lead Analyst will provide deep domain expertise and thought leadership, guiding cross-functional teams in the adoption of best practices and innovative technologies. The individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital manufacturing landscape, aligning solutions with business objectives, scalability initiatives, and security protocols. In addition to serving as a liaison between business operations and IT, the Lead Analyst will own the end-to-end lifecycle of manufacturing technology solutions—from ideation and architecture through implementation and continuous improvement.
This position reports directly to the Senior Director, IT Applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to facilitate continuous improvement of application capabilities through standardization, improvements, and configuration changes
- Interpret current Business and Manufacturing Systems Architecture and collaborate on recommendations for Industry 4.0 Transformations across PLC/SCADA/MES/ERP technology layers.
- Collaborate on complex manufacturing and business processes to improve and integrate new systems or functionality with existing ones, ensuring alignment with long-term business and IT strategies.
- Champion the review of application exceptions, analyze information to assist business teams in identifying root causes, and oversee resolutions.
- Follow established processes to identify requirements, specifications, and training plans aligned with business objectives and best practices.
